No words are adequate
To explain a lost loved soul
No one here as advocate
It is out of our control
Tomorrow is not a guarantee
We've heard it all our life
Yet we carry on our day so freely
Thinking that was mostly rife
Young and fun and venturous
Possibilities were unknown
Wanting to be rebellious
Livin it up cause she is grown
Her ventures came to a halt
As her breath became her last
Tomorrow's gone by default
cause today she would go fast
Why must we take for granted
Our life down here on earth
He created and implanted
Our life and what it's worth
He is a jealous God
All He wants from us is love
Not to put up a facade
But in Him to be proud of
Wasted time on earth
With selfish plans ahead
Not sharing His love and worth
But leaving things unsaid
You have a choice today
Live for Him instead
Witness all the way
With Christ youll move ahead
